About Hallie Boys
Baseball
Hallie
Boys Baseball is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization. It is a
complete
baseball program where boys learn sportsmanship & teamwork while
having
a summer time of fun! Hallie Boys Baseball was formed in the spring
of 1970 and has
since grown into one of the most compreshensive baseball
programs in West Central Wisconsin. Boys can start at the age of 6 and
continue in the program through the age of 18. Hallie Boys Baseball
does
not have tryouts for league play. Every boy that signs up gets to play.
Divisions of Play
Hallie
Boys Baseball is a complete program for boys between the ages of 6 and
18. The league is comprised of 5 divisions:
TBall
Our
TBall Division is for boys 6 & 7 years of age and provides an
introduction
to organized baseball. The boys have a summer time of fun while
learning
the basics of the game. Emphasis is placed on the fundamentals....
throwing,
fielding, and the swing.
Modified Pitch
Our
Modified Pitch Division is for boys 8 & 9 years of age. Emphasis is
placed on proper hitting technique with an introduction to pitching.
This
is where the boys learn to develop a proper swing at live pitching.
Modified
Pitch is a combination of player pitch and coach pitch.
Our
Little League Division is for boys 10 thru 12 years of age. Emphasis is
placed on honing the fundamentals and learning situation strategies.
Bunting,
stealing bases and preventing the opposition from stealing are
essential.
Babe Ruth
Our
Babe Ruth Division is for boys 13 thru 15 years of age. Emphasis is
placed
on executing the fundamentals with power and furthering the knowledge
of
situation strategies.This is where the boys hone their skills to
prepare
themselves for High School ball.
Senior Babe Ruth
Our
Senior Babe Ruth Division is for boys 16 thru 18 years of age. Emphasis
in on position specialties and power. Senior Babe Ruth provides a
summer
program for High School boys.

- Cleanup Day at Hallie Park is Saturday, April 26,
2008 and will start at 9am and end at 1pm.
- The Hallie
Youth Baseball Tournament will be July 31 - August 3, 2008.
Reminders....
- The Lost &
Found at Hallie Park is located at the Concession Stand. Items found in
the park are kept until the end of the season.
- Remember that there is no hitting
into
any of the fences at Hallie Park.
