Hallie Girls Softball is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. It was started in 1971 and has since grown into one the most comprehensive youth softball programs in Wisconsin. It is a complete softball program where girls learn sportsmanship & teamwork while having a summer time of fun! Girls can start at the age of 5 and continue in the program through the the age of 18. Hallie Girls Softball does not have tryouts for league play. Every girl that signs up gets to play.
Hallie Girls Softball is governed by ASA rules and uses ASA certified umpires for all league games. For a detailed description of the structure of Hallie Girls Softball refer to the Hallie Girls Softball Organization Manual.

TBall - Our Tball Division is softball for girls 5 thru 7 years of age. Emphasis is placed on the basic fundamentals of softball. The mechanics of throwing, fielding & a proper swing are essential for the developement of young players.
Modified Pitch - Our Modified Pitch Division is softball for girls 8 and 9 years of age. Emphasis is placed on proper hitting technique with an introduction to pitching. The girls get to face live pitching in a controlled environment.
Juniors - Our Junior Division is fastpitch softball for girls 10 thru 12 years of age. Emphasis is placed on honing the fundamentals and learning situation strategies. This is where the girls learn to bunt and steal bases. The players soon learn the importance of advancing runners and also how to keep them from advancing.
Intermediates - Our Intermediate Division is fastpitch softball for girls 13 & 14 years of age. Emphasis is placed on executing the fundamentals with power and furthering the knowledge of situation strategies. This is where the players hone their skills to prepare themselves for high school ball.
Seniors - Our Senior Division is fastpitch softball for girls 15 thru 18 years of age. Emphasis is placed on position specialties and power. At this age the girls have settled into certain positions. The Senior Division provides an opportunity for the girls to work on the skills that are required for each position.
